He holds a Master of Occupational Therapy (Mental Health) and has over five years of experience in pediatric rehabilitation and child development. She holds a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) in Paediatrics from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. She specializes in the assessment and management of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Dr. Sowmiyaa has advanced expertise in Sensory Integration Therapy, developmental intervention, and evidence-based paediatric rehabilitation. I am Sumathi and I had been referred to Strive Child Therapy Center by NIMHANS doctors for my son's developmental delays. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about the therapy process, but the therapist explained it to me in detail and assured me that they were working on building a rapport with my son and finding his interests. Although I did not see any improvement in the first two months, I continued with the therapy, and I am glad I did.
